A Jackson, TN startup needs proven freelancers. The partners in this company are dynamic, forward-thinking entrepreneurs who seek like-minded professionals. The website and database creators will play key roles in establishing roll-out plans. The website will have national scope, driven by a custom database that dynamically presents local business listings.

PHP/MySQL Responsibilities: create the database, link it between the CMS and web forms , and import clean CSV files to create business records. It is strongly desired that this person has experience integrating with MODx /WordPress. Some support is needed for a few months following launch, until that function can be managed in-house. These terms will be negotiated separate from database creation.

Website developer The site will be created in MODx or WordPress and include: blog, API feeds, user-generated content, ad tags and basic shopping cart. It must be: clean design, fast-loading, cross-browser compatible and SEO friendly. You will assist tech-savvy user(s) become acclimated with the CMS, and other than brief support following launch, will not be responsible for site management.
