It was an interesting presentation. While it was about a commercial (soon to be partially OS) product, it was very technical and not just a marketing pitch. Aside from being an engaging presentation it was a great example of how companies should interact with communities. The presentation itself held value for most of the attendees. The marketing was done afterwards and only to those who requested it.
Just goes to prove that Mark de Visser is one of the few people at the C-Level of any company that understand the value of a healthy community.
